Our company was founded in 1919 by J.P.
Simons Sr. Joseph Simons
was an active member of the burgeoning electrical community in
Chicago and was one of the founders of the Electric Golf club.
It was through his hard work and integrity that he became an icon
in the industry. With Mr. Simons’ untimely death, the company was
left into the capable hands of his sons Joe Jr. and Walter. Joe Jr.
was a past board member of NAED, past President of The Lake Michigan
Club, and founder of the Little Wheels Club. J.P. Simons Jr. passed
away on June 21st 2006. Today J.P. Simons & Company is run by his
daughter, Jean Simons Bradfield. J.P. Simons is certified as a woman
owned business (WBE).
